How a Self-Cleaning Pool Works

Senator Pools will design your in floor pool cleaning system at our workshop in Castle Hill. This system comes with a series of nozzles built into the pool’s floor and steps that pop up when cleaning is needed. These nozzles direct any dirt and debris on the floor, walls, steps and benches of the pool towards an in-floor drain point located at the deep end of the pool. The dirt and debris will then go through the filtration system and removed from the water. The cleaning nozzles remain inside the pool floor when not in use, ensuring they’re not a nuisance when you and your family are swimming.

In floor pool cleaning also circulates the water throughout the pool to help minimise algae growth and provide sufficient heat and chemical dissipation.
